The challenges therefore are to maintain sustainable financial stability and to develop the capital and securities markets so as to broaden the range of financial services available particularly the “Small Cap” that is vital for the continuing development of SME.

Thriving on the network model of business and its flexible combination of creativity as well as operational efficiency to the demand of both local and abroad, SME in East Asia has generally recorded strong growth in recent years.

This growth, however robust it may seems, is continuously being challenged.
